Nicole Kelley was raised in Oklahoma and transplanted to the far north suburbs of Chicago, where she makes her home with her husband Scott and their four kids. Writing from her own life and relationship with God, Nicole brings authentic lyrics with a light indie groove. When she’s not in concert, or hanging out playing music with friends, or sitting in a coffee shop writing songs, Nicole likes to tutor math, read Brennan Manning, and be any place that has mountains.
Nicole’s band is comprised of Nicole on vocals and guitar, Chuck Miner on bass, Caroline Miner on piano, strings and synth, and Jaimee Funk on drums. They all met in their homeschool co-op and the rest is history.
Life in Messiah
Life in Messiah has helped Christians understand the Jewish roots of our faith and God’s ongoing commitment to His people. We teach that anti-Semitism is inconsistent with biblical faith. We “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” which includes her spiritual renewal as well as physical safety. In all we do, our priority is to share the gospel message. Today Life in Messiah has ministry to Jewish people in Israel, France, The Netherlands, Canada, Argentina, Mexico and the United States. Like our founder, William E. Blackstone, our continuing desire is to “share God’s heart with the Jewish people.”
